What you plan to include in section 1
Paragraph 1/Introduction:
An individual can have multiple statuses in their lifetime. A status, by definition, is any “____” a person has within their _____ (Conley 2021:319). This includes being a mom, ___, ___, or ____. A status comes with _____, which are the “___ and ___” of the status (Conley 2021:319). For example, a person with the ___ status fulfills the roles ___ and ____. Another instance is an employee having to ________.
What you plan to include in section 2
Paragraph 1: My status as a pet parent.
When I adopted my cat, I had only a basic understanding of caring for a cat. I assumed that the only roles would be to feed, clean my cat’s box, and play with him. However, my cat ended up being very sick, and I was unknowingly given more roles as a pet parent. My new roles included monthly vet visits, administering medication, and deep cleaning my apartment daily to prevent contamination. Although I no longer have some of those roles, I gained new ones when I moved in with my boyfriend and his dog. The roles of feeding, cleaning, and playing with my pets are the same; I did gain new roles such as walking my dog and training her commands. The roles associated with being a pet parent were not explicitly stated; rather, I had to learn (the hard way) how to properly care for my pets.
Paragraph 2: My status as a girlfriend.
There are numerous roles I fill as a girlfriend. These roles are essential for a successful relationship, and these roles are typically shared by both my boyfriend and me. A few roles I have include spending quality time, going on dates, and accommodating his interests (such as listening to him talk about Pokémon).
Paragraph 3: My status as a sibling.
As a middle child, there are various responsibilities and roles I have. The biggest role (in my opinion) would be to act as a good role model for my younger brother. I ensure to present myself as someone he can look up to. I also take on the role as mediator. I often act as a buffer between my siblings, and I am often chosen as the sibling to speak on behalf of all three of us (when talking to my parents). Another role I take on is to be a safe space for my siblings. I allow myself to be open for my siblings if they ever need anything. This includes duties like letting my brother stay the night at my house, listening to my sister complain about our dad, picking up my brother from school (when he does not want to walk), giving my sister money for food, and so many other things.
What you plan to include in section 3
Paragraph 1:
Role strain happens when ________ (Conley 2021). Referring back to my status as a pet parent, I felt enormous role strain when my cat was sick. I was overwhelmed with all the additional obligations that I was not anticipating, such as the constant need to keep everything clean to prevent recontamination. I had to make life or death decisions for a cat I had for two weeks; I felt extremely unprepared.
Paragraph 2:
Role conflict occurs when _____ (Conley 2021). This can happen for various reasons with any status. Personally, I experience role conflict when it comes to my boyfriend and my siblings. The most common role conflict I have is balancing my free time between my boyfriend and my siblings. Sometimes, I must sacrifice time with my boyfriend to be with my siblings and vice versa. This can become an issue between us all, especially when my siblings complain that I spend too much time with my boyfriend. Although I have since figured out ways to balance this, I still have to pick and choose who to be with, and it plays a major role conflict in my life.
Conclusion:
All people have statuses and associated roles to fulfill those statuses. Going through social life without having at least a few statuses would be impossible. Considering this fact, it is important to understand our statuses, their associated roles, and how role strain and role conflict can occur because they can cause issues as they arise. I had not previously thought about all my statuses in my life, but now I know that I have several and that sometimes a single status can butt heads with other statuses, making it hard to satisfy all my social roles.

We are as paranoid as you are. Maybe even more! And we understand that the greatest sin you can commit in your academic journey is plagiarizing your academic work. To that end, we have made sure that we check and double-check our papers using high quality plagiarism detection tools such as SafeAssign and Turnitin before submitting the paper to you.
Who is my writer? Is he/she a native English Speaker?
All our writers are native English Speakers. That is not to say that ESL writers are not good, we just prefer hiring native writers because we want the very best people working on your paper. This might mean paying a little bit more for your paper as opposed to when you pay a foreign company whose writers are non-native English Speakers.
What if I need revisions? Will your charge additional for this?
Of course not! If you do happen to require a revision on your paper, our team will handle it for you free of charge. Matter of fact, we won’t rest till you are happy with your paper. So, ask for as many revisions as you need, it’s completely FREE!
